L.Q. Bulger

Joined Lansdowne in 1896 and played wing and centre on the First XV and gained 5 of his 8 caps with Lansdowne between 1896 and 1898 as a winger.  He scored 2 tries, 2 penalties and 2 conversions for Ireland

It is thought that his final 3 caps were won whilst with Trinity College Dublin.  His brother M.J. Bulger also played for Lansdowne and won a cap against New Zealand Maoris in 1888.

L.Q. was one of the earliest Irish players to be selected for and playing for the Barbarians.
