Mick Dunne from Co. Meath won 16 caps in the Irish second-row and was a Lion's tourist in 1930. Educated at Castleknock College, he graduated from TCD and became a solicitor with the Hibernian Bank. When he retired from playing activities, Dunne spent seven years as Hon. Secretary of Lansdowne and was elected Club President for 1949/50 - the only genuine Lansdowne Lion to be so honoured.
