Lansdowne U11 v Bective U11

Jan 20, 2013

On a bitterly cold Sunday morning, Bective traveled the short distance from Donnybrook to Lansdowne Rd and served up a powerful demonstration of how to ruck and pass. The visiting team were well drilled and Lansdowne suffered a blow in the fist game when Dylan Walsh had to retire with a nasty bang to the knee. Lansdowne subsequently lost Conor Slattery in the second game to a bloodied nose but he returned to the pitch a few minutes later after receiving treatment.

Credit to both sets of players for providing such an entertaining brand of rugby on a freezing day when even the ducks were absent from the Dodder.

Thanks Bective for a good, tough, physical and fast-paced running game.
