Online Registration for Minis and Youths

Aug 05, 2014

Dear parents,

On behalf of Lansdowne FC Minis and Youths Rugby, we are delighted to advise that registration system for boys and girls for the 2014 / 2015 season is now open.

This year we have introduced an online system for the registration of players and the payment of the minis and youths subs. We have partnered with MyClubFinances (, who currently provide this service to over 800 clubs and organizations. You may already have an account with them, however if not, once you create one the details of your membership will always be available to you.

Your Club Membership can be registered and paid online here by Credit Card, Debit Card (such as Visa/Debit) or by Cheque.

Subscribe online to have your own Account, where full details on your Membership will always be available to you.

Please click on the "Club Memberships" button or on one of the Membership Options listed below:

One of the main objectives of going on-line is to have every mini and youth’s member registered before the season starts in September. This should facilitate training to commence as soon as the season opens.

As an incentive, all children that register during August using the new system, and have their membership fully paid, will be entered into a free draw to win 1 of 25 new Lansdowne FC backpacks.

For the U6/7s category, we ask that parents be aware that children must be born in 2009/2008. Boys and girls are very welcome to join in what is a fun and non-contact environment and at this level it is all about fostering an enjoyment for the game. Although it is non-contact, it has been previous experience that children can be put off the game by starting at too young an age. Obviously, this is not something that anybody would wish for, and by waiting until they are eligible we find that this ensures they are able to get fully involved and enjoy learning the game.

Many of the parents involved at minis and youths levels give their time to coach, to assist, or to help out in the club in many other ways. Given the growing membership levels, there is always a requirement for more parents to get involved. As you complete the registration process, please note the section for volunteering. If you would like to get involved, please make sure you tick this section. Knowledge or experience of rugby is not required, and no offer to assist will ever be refused!

We look forward to commencing our new season in September. You can all start to help the club by ensuring you register straight away and ensure to offer your time in some way to help your club during the season.

Thanking you all.

Yours in rugby,

Kieran Walsh & Owen Lydon
