U17: Terenure 12 - 24 Lansdowne

Oct 28, 2013

Lansdowne U17s season kicked off with a well deserved win away to Terenure. On a sweltering hot day, Terenure started well and scored early on after some weak tackling by Lansdowne. Lansdowne answered with a well worked try rounded off with some blistering pace from Adam Browne on the wing.

Terenure took the lead again but Lansdowne responded with a superb solo effort by Jack Mulcahy who chipped over the Nure defence and gathered to score under the posts. After that Lansdowne were dominant with some strong running from Robert O'Connell & Lorcan Rooney. After a couple of attacks some swift passing across the line and a deft Conor Mac Mahon offload to Cameron Lynch yielded a 3rd try in the corner.

Lansdowne finished the game strongly when Arthur Greene finished off a great play by Rob Kelly to score under the posts. Man of the match = Lorcan Rooney.
