Lansdowne 2nd XV

The J1 team at Lansdowne has a long tradition of success in the Junior division One League and the Metropolitan Cup. The club has been in the Metropolitan Cup final for the past three years and capped the 2008/09 season with victory over Monkstown F.C.

The aim of the team is to provide a quality seconds team for Lansdowne F.C while devloping players individually. J1 players provide a competitive atmosphere that push senior players throughout the year for selection in the Senior AIL squad.

The team trains on Tuesday and Thursday night as a part of the 1sts squad at Lansdowne F.C. This means the level of coaching and standard of players is very high. Training begins in July and starts each night at 6:30pm at Monkstown F.C (Sydney Parade).

All players are welcome for what will be a hugely successful 2009/2010 season!
