With only 3 All Ireland League fixtures remaining before we move towards a close for the Christmas break, Lansdowne First XV are away to Shannon for their first encounter in some time.  The Shannon-siders got lifted back up to Div1a this season and have only slipped down the table in the past couple of weeks after a promising start.

Clontarf came away from their recent trip to Limerick with only a 5 point difference (17-22).  Shannon defeated Young Munster the previous week at Thomond Park.  So round 7 will be an interesting clash between a Lansdowne side determined to close out the season on good form and rewrite some early wrongs, and Shannon eager to put their last unexpected defeat to Dublin University behind them.

Shannon are offering pre-match lunch package at an attractive €25 per head for those travelling.
