When many facilities were unplayable due to overnight rain and high winds brought to us courtesy of Storm Denis, Ballycorus was brimming with sunshine, dry, well drained and very playable.  Although with the usual blast of high winds and a touch on the cold side.

The under 10s under the expert tutelage of Simon McDowell took on neighbours De La Salle Palmerston whose own grounds were closed due to the weather.  The boys playes 3 round robin matches each over 3 pitches against a determined DLSP.

Meanwhile Olivier’s Under 12s were hosting Westmanstown on the other pitch where there some eye catching skills under the ball and plenty of running rugby.  The boys played 4 matches split between 2 half pitches and won 3 lost 1.  A good result well done.
