Former Lansdowne players Stephen Rooney, Collie McEntee, Shane McEntee and Liam Toland are putting their fitness to the test by taking part in a rowing world record attempt this Saturday, 26th of June.

A team of 20  (mostly ex rugby players) are attempting to row 437 km in 24hours using one rowing machine where they will interchange roughly every 45 seconds

It is an extremely challenging mission and unlike anything most of the group have done before

They are trying to raise money for two great charities: the IRFU Charitable Trust and Cross Cancer Research
