Last week the IRFU issued their guidelines on the roadmap to return to rugby for clubs. We are currently in the COVID-19 Safety Planning Stage and we are starting to put the following in place before any rugby activity recommences:
- Appoint a COVID-19 Club Safety Officer & COVID-19 Club Compliance Officers – Kieran Walsh, our Honorary Secretary, has been appointed as our COVID-19 Club Safety Officer and is working with the individual teams to appoint Compliance Officers to ensure we are fully prepared across the board.
- Avail of Training & Education Support – Kieran and his team will be participating in all available training.
- Complete a COVID-19 Health & Safety Plan (inc. Risk Assessment) – This is ongoing with Executive, Staff and Officers to ensure that we have a fully compliant plan of action to create a safe and healthy return to rugby for all our members.
