Lansdowne FC held its annual Ladies charitable Lunch last Friday in the clubhouse which had over 150 guests seated for their mid afternoon event. This years chosen charity is St. Anne’s Special National School in The Curragh, Co. Kildare and we raised €10k for the school.

St. Anne’s caters for students from the age of 4 to 18 years who have been assessed with either a moderate or severe/profound general learning disability.  Many of the pupils would have additional needs such as physical disabilities, sensory impairment or autistic spectrum disorder. This is a charity close to the hearts of Club President Colin Goode, his wife Liz and their daughter Meghan who were all in attendance.

Many thanks to the committee:

and much gratitude to all those who supported the event and contributed to the raffle prizes.
