On a sun drenched evening at the tail end of a long and successful season, the club celebrated with a fitting finale by hosting a BBQ to accompany the presentation of the Lansdowne Player Awards.
As is customary, the previous year’s award winners received a crystal memento in recognition of their achievement.

The final section of the player awards was given to three key awards – U20, junior and senior player of the year. In his final address to the club as President, Michael Cassidy remarked on how proud he was and how much of an honour it was for him to be in a position to acknowledge the hard work, determination and graft that enabled the club to achieve so much during his tenure as represented by the three key player awards.
Well done to Tim Murphy and Ross Barry who were awarded and U20 and junior player of the year.
There was no surprise as Scott Deasy was awarded the senior player of the year. Scott broke several club and AIL records during the season and he crowned it all by helping his club and captain, Ian Prendeville to claim four senior trophies.
