The U20s continued their winning streak with a comprehensive win against MU Barnhall on Sunday.

Taking the game to Barnhall from the start, Lansdowne opened the scoring when scrum half Kevin O’Conner broke clean through to score close in, making the conversion easy for Billy Foley. Captain Cillian Redmond then stormed over for the second try, again converted by Billy Flynn.

A beautifully executed cross kick from Stephen Madigan was then well fielded by Jack Matthews , who then fed Rory Madigan to score wide out.

And finally the forwards rumbled over, Neal Moylett touching down to finish the scoring.

Unfortunately Barnhall flanker Cian Doyle was taken to hospital by ambulance after sustaining a neck injury, and we are happy to report that the injury was not serious and Cian was discharged later. We wish him a speedy recovery.

No game this Sunday and next up is Old Wesley on Feb 9th
