For the 2nd time in as many weeks, David McKeown and Alan Reddan’s U6 & U7 minis travelled to gracious hosts Greystones Rugby Club to play a minis blitz against GFC and St. Brigids RC (Foxrock).  Greystones is always a great if not a muddy place for the boys to visit and test their skills against the opposition.  Local organiser Peter did a great job of setting up the pitches and shepharding the event.  As usual, GFC laid on a great spread afterwards which the early risers gratefully received.

Lansdowne gave a great account of themselves with at least two of the four fielded teams winning all their matches with tries aplenty.  They boys displayed some great skills,  two handed ball carrying, great offloading and support play along with runnng some very good attacking lines.  Muddy but terrifc stuff.  Well done to all the boys but also our dedicated coaches and parents who give up their Sunday lie in.

Watch out for the teamer notifications from David for the Kieran Burke Festival in DLSP next week.
