This week, Leinster Rugby annouced two new cup competitions for the 2021/22 season, kicking starting the return of junior rugby in the 12 counties.

The Bank of Ireland Leinster League Cup (Colm O’Shea Cup) and the Bank of Ireland Metropolitan Cup, starting on the weekend of the 21st of August will run on a knock out basis over four weekends. Both competitions will culminate with a double header final day on Saturday, 11th of September. Lansdowne FC will be hosting the finals.

We are delighted to be hosting these finals, in particular the Colm O’Shea Cup. Colm was a much loved and is a much missed member of Lansdowne and we are so pleased to see him being honoured in this way. We are thrilled that Leinster Rugby in conjunction with Bank of Ireland have recognised and promoted Colm’s great work at Leinster over many years.
