Round 8 of the All Ireland League and Lansdowne have maintained their 3rd place in the League Table. Clontarf lost their perch at the top of the table thanks to an expected gutsy performance by Cork Constitution in Castle Avenue last weekend. Lansdowne were away to Shannon and took away a bonus point win from the Thomond clash.
This week’s team has been announced for tomorrows fixture that sees University College Cork visit Lansdowne Road. This sees no changes at nos 1 – 4 (D Coulson, R Kelleher, I Prendiville, D’O’Connor) but now Willie Earlie moving to No.8. Jack O’Sullivan and Aaron Conneely remain paired at 6 & 7.
Mark O’Keefe comes in at number 11 with Thomas Daly as his inside man. No changes to the other wing and inside centre with Harry Brennan and Daniel McEvoy staying at number 13 & 14 respectively.
Corkmen Eamonn Mills (15) and Scott Deasy (10) must be relishing an encounter at HQ with their fellow Corkonians.
