Despite very inclement November rain, a great turnout of 22 boys on Wednesday night at Lansdowne Football Club for the first ever Scott Deasy Kicking Clinic.  Boys from all ages groups from Under 13 to Under 17 attended to listen to the maestro impart his knowledge of the kicking game.

Scott walked the boys through some of the key fundamentals of the kicking game, explaining the tricks to body position, hand and foot, targetting, and follow through.  In fact, it was such a success we may run another class in January.

All monies raised goes to the IRFU Charitable Trust.  Established in 1978, the Trust exists to assist severely injured rugby players in their everyday lives.  This support comes in various forms from financial support through to nursing care.  To donate or volunteer to the Trust, simply visiit https://irfucharitabletrust.com/
