It is with great sadness and a deep sense of loss that the members of Lansdowne learnt yesterday of the death of their fellow clubman, Peter Sutherland.[spacer height=”20px”]
Peter inherited from his late father Billy, a true love of Lansdowne FC and of rugby. [spacer height=”20px”]

After school, Peter joined UCD and captained the 1st XV before joining Lansdownewhere he captained the club in 1970-71.
As a recent trustee, he showed his true commitment to Lansdowne, taking great pride in the success of the club on the rugby pitch and ensured the club was kept on a sound financial basis.[spacer height=”20px”]
