Lansdowne Longhorns
The Lansdowne Longhorns are the club veterans/over 35 team who are presently competing in the Leinster vets league. The ethos in the team should always be that we have left our competing days well and truly behind us, and this is all about fun and socialising.
The team subscribes to the 3 philosophical pillars of ‘Course Rugby’ which are:
- Training should, if possible, be avoided as it takes the edge off our game
- Winning is sometimes an unfortunate by-product of our cavalier style
- If in doubt, run for it!
We are always looking for more players, so if you were born in or before 1974 you qualify so dont be shy, give it a try!
