To the haunting sound of “Oh Flower of Scotland” played on the pipes, Heriots Rugby made their entrance (much to the delight and applause of the local crowd) on to the back pitch this morning to play the Lansdowne Under 12’s under the guidance of Paul Nagle.  Heriots is one of Scotand’s oldest established clubs having been formed in 1890.  The club shares its grounds and history with the Heriots School and calls ‘Goldenacre’ it’s home.  The club has produced some fine Internationals for the Scottish side over the years.  Their club motto is “distribute cheerfullie’ which they certainly did today.
