The U13 squad in advance of their upcoming tour to Lisbon for the Lisbon International Rugby Youth Festival have been busy raising much needed funds to assist with the cost of the tour having raised a substantial sum at the recent Ireland V England 6 Nations match at the Aviva Stadium.  However, in recognition that there are others in more need that them, they took the decision to dedicate one of their collection days to Injured Rugby players by donating all of the funds to the IRFU Charitable Trust.  They boys (and parents) put in a hard days work and raised an impressive €1000 for the charity.

The IRFU Chartiable Turst has been working tirelessly since 1978 to assist those Rugby players unfortunate enough to encounter a life changing injury in the pursuit of their chosen sport.  There are currently 38 injured players registered with the charity and Lansdowne Football Club and the Under 13 Squad & parents wish them well and hope that in some way this contribution will benefit their daily lives.

Many thanks to the efforts of Catherine Walsh and her team of volunteers and organisers and to the staff and customers of Tesco Merrion for allowing us the time to do this and for their generosity.
