James Fegan’s under 13 boys travelled to Greystones on Sunday morning for their first grading matches. This was their biggest test yet as it was their first time playing under a Leinster Branch Referee and on a full pitch as a 15 man side.

Greystones got off to an early start with a converted try but Lansdowne came back at them with one of our own. It was very entertaining to watch.
‘Stones won by two points in the end but the basics were all there.

It’s all learning at this age so they’ll take from this and work on the areas that need fixing.

Well done to Greystones and we’ll see you again in the season

Thanks for Con O’Donoghue for the photos.
