The under 12s were treated to a special weekend away recently when they took the train to Limerick to take part in a friendly blitz at Old Crescent.  Hugh McGauran had arranged the boys attend a blitz against St. Senan’s, Bruff and Old Crescent which was hosted by the latter.  By all accounts the hospitality on offer was incredible and will live long in the boys memories.

Next up, they were brought to the world famous HQ of Munster Rugby, Thomond Park where they joined the 26,000+ crowd to see the men in red take on Exeter in the European Rugby Champions Cup which Munster won narrowly by 9 points to 7.  Former ‘Tarf man Joey Carbery scoring all of Munsters points.

The LFC boys carried themselves well against their Limerick rivals, losing a match and taking away one win and a draw.  Thanks to the organisers and parents for making it such a fun weekend for the boys.
