The Under 13s earned themselves a remarkable and memorable draw on Sunday against a very big Barnhall side in the latest of their league fixtures.
The Co. Kildare boys scored first under the posts using their big forwards to carry but Lansdowne soon learned to get the ball out fast and wide and scored two of their own. With 5 mins left to play Lansdowne were down by a converted try courtesy of the barnhall pack but they didn’t let their heads or their discipline drop.

They pinned Barnhall onto their own try line and forced the errors. The referee gave Lansdowne two penalties on the trot and the boys battered their way over with a try which was ably converted.

Big thanks to Barnhall who were very gracious hosts.
