Fancy shedding few pounds? Building a bit of muscle? Getting “beach ready”? Or do you just want to work up a thirst before hitting the bar an hour later on a Friday?
We’re running a Health and Fitness training session on Friday evenings from 6.00pm to 7.00pm under the supervision of Dan Moore (1st S & C coach) and Damien Walsh (U17s S & C. etc.).
It’s just an hour of strength and fitness, mobility and stamina and lots and lots of stretching. Sometimes inside in the gym, sometimes outside on the pitch. All are welcome, but it’s tailored to those members who remember playing in cotton jerseys with leather balls with laces on them! You know who you are!
We’ve had a test run already with guinea pigs, Brian Whelan and Mark McMahon and the benefits can clearly be seen in the attached photos with coach Damien.
Cost depends on numbers, but roughly €10 to €15 per session, per person.
