Sunday 31st April was a great day for Lansdowne FC Youths success.  We hosted two home back-tto-back quarter finals and won each match.  Paul Nagle’s U13’s in a crunch decider against North Meath were behind 5-19 and came back to win 22-19.  What a comeback!  They now go on to play Navan on neutral ground next week.

U13 vs North Meath

The U14s had a good win in the Shield semi final against Clontarf.  FT score 21-10.  There was great commitment shown by the lads.  Senior coach David O’Connor (DOC) was in the sideline and was a terrific influence on the boys.  DOC has done a fantastic job for us this season.  We hear that DOC has been given a full time contract with Ulster next season.  We will miss him but wish him the very best of luck.

The 14s now go on to a cup semi against Blackrock on neutral venue TBC.

Meanwhile our 17s had a tough 17-0 win against Seapoint in the quarter final of the Metro Cup.

The u12s also won against Clontarf and Clondalkin winning 5 out of 6 games setting them up nicely for things to come.
