Lansdowne senior players Jack O’Sullivan and John Delany worked in partnership with our major sponsor Zurich on a Business in the Community initiative.  Zurich and BITC have been working closely with St. Tiernans Community School in Balally to help promote further education and life skills within a group of 5th year students.

As the culmainating activity day for the programme,  the teenagers were brought down to the Zurich Blue Room and given a recap of the terms events with Zurich which included a series of workshops on Presentation skills & Interview skills, Body Language, CV prep, Risks and dangers of Social Media, Mock interviews..  They were then brought out on to the pitch where Jack and John had designed a series of team building sessions based on their own comprehensive playing and training experiencies.

For many of these teenagers, it was their first time anywhere near the stadium and a first run out onto a facility like Lansdowne FC back pitch.  It was a huge success and the kids reacted really positively to the session.
