This evening the Under 12s got to experience their first Friday Night Lights match using the full pitch and floodlights.  The boys were hosting Coolmine in what was going to be an epic encounter for both teams.  You could tell they were eager to as the warm ups started a full hour before kick-off.   Lansdowne had a great first quarter but lost one of their key players early-on.  This allowed the opposition dictate the remainder of the match and they came out clear winners.

It was a great experience for the boys and part of the learning curve as they head into next season.  Everybody retired to the warmth and hospitality of the bar afterwards for some well earned sandwiches,  Nothing better on a Friday night to catch the Under 20s on the TV win their 6 Nations Grand Slam.
