In 2004, De Le Salle Palmerston minis tragically lost 6 year old Kieran Burke to Leukaemia.   Now in its 15th year, the DSLP Kieran Burke Festival of Rugby keeps his memory alive. Up to 700 u7’s from all over Leinster attended this years event.

This has become a real fixture in the U7s Rugby calendar and this year Lansdowne U7’s organised by head coach Janet Trehy attended in good numbers fielding three teams.  The boys had great fun and played some compettitive rugby but also got to meet Leinster stars Noel Reid (Clontarf FC) and fellow Lansdowne man Peter Dooley.

Thanks for Janet for all her hard work organsing and for taking all the photos and also to Elayne for kindly arranging the transport.
