Finally, we’re back! This weekend marks the first Mini & Youth Rugby training in far too long. We are delighted to have everyone back and ask that you adhere to some guidelines to make sure the smooth running of the day. With that in mind, please see below a message from the Chair of M&Y Brian Moran. We thank you in advance for your cooperation!
Dear Parents,
It has been a long time but gladly and in line with Government relaxation of Pandemic Level 5 restrictions, we are able to return to Rugby activity this coming weekend May 2nd 2021.
Some guidance for our return.
Training as before lockdown will be in pods of 15. Only non-contact training is allowed.
- Please observe the return to play protocols and complete the covid health declarations in advance.
- Bring own water bottles, no sharing
- No car pooling
- Please arrive in time for training and depart the facility immediately afterwards. No congregating
Important – Parking & Access to the pitch
As the HSE are currently operating a Covid19 vaccination centre in the Aviva Stadium, access to the pitch and club car park is restricted.
Parents are asked to use the carpark in Marian College or Herbert Road. There is no parking on site at Aviva Stadium. Please do not park on the road at the Aviva Stadium. Please respect and take instruction from the HSE Marshalls who are on site. Access to the club pitch will be via the front steel gate ONLY. Parents are asked by HSE not to stand on the Aviva side of the pitch barrier. For the purpose of our return to rugby, parents will be allowed onto the pitch.
Remember that Marian College is also a residential facility and respect the residents.
Finally, the clubhouse will still remain closed until further notice.
